The programme covers a wide selection of topics in synthetic, mechanistic, theoretical and industrially
relevant silicon chemistry such as: silicon-based polymers and materials, including silicones, silsesquioxanes,
hybrids, nanochemistry, composites, catalysis etc; biosilicon chemistry; multiply bonded species and reaction
intermediates; and hypervalent silicon compounds.
